Easts Hockey Club aligns with Hockey Australia’s commitment to safeguarding children by promoting safe, respectful, and child-friendly environments. This includes ensuring all members, volunteers, coaches, and officials understand their responsibilities to protect children and young people from harm.
Safe Hockey Officer
To support this commitment, Easts Hockey Club has a designated Safe Hockey Officer with a dedicated focus on child safety and wellbeing. The SHO is available to:
§ Listen to concerns
§ Provide guidance on child safety matters
§ Support members in understanding reporting processes
§ Help ensure our club remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive place for every child
