U12 Come & Try Term 2 2025

Join us for a fun-filled hockey experience! Our Come & Try program is designed to introduce kids to hockey through engaging skills and drills on artificial turf. Coaches and parent coaches will be on hand to guide participants.

Dates: Friday, 2nd May – Friday, 20th June 2025
Time: 4:45PM – 5:45 PM
Location: Easts Hockey Tiger Turf, Clem Jones Centre, Carina
Ages: 4 – 12 (split into smaller age groups)
Cost: $100 for 8 weeks

Hockey shop open for equipment and club gear
Canteen & bar available for light snacks and drinks

2025 Junior Development Sessions

In 2025, Easts are offering our juniors additional opportunities to enhance their skill development.

The program will support players in the areas of basic skills, tackling, hitting, passing, penalty corners to name a few.

We are fortunate at Easts to have numerous players and coaches who have an abundance of International, State and Top Level Club experience. The club looks forward to our juniors having the opportunity to train under these fantastic coaches.

Sessions will run on a Tuesday from 5-6pm either on the grass fields or turf field depending on the session.

Canteen Shift Supervisors & Paid Volunteers Wanted

Easts Hockey is looking for Shift Supervisors and Paid Volunteers to assist in our canteen throughout the season.


Canteen Shift Supervisor

We are seeking expressions of interest for Canteen Shift Supervisors. The canteen operates on week nights and weekends throughout the season.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Aged 18+
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly, engaging, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hospitality experience preferred (including Easts Canteen)
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple tasks
  • Barista experience preferred
  • RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Level 1 Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • On-the-job training provided

Paid Volunteers

We are also looking for Paid Canteen Volunteers (ages 14+) to assist with shifts. Training is provided. Paid volunteers help fill shifts for members who have paid their canteen levy.

Shift Availability: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays throughout the hockey season.
